Improving your game is important. Most of us want to do our best, no matter what we do in life (golf, marriage, parenting, job, etc.). St. Paul Lutheran wants to see your “game” improve.

You may not improve your golf score, but Jesus knows how to help you avoid the real hazards in life. At St. Paul Lutheran, we believe Jesus also wants us to help your “game” improve.

Think of life in golf terms. Because Jesus is God, He is perfect and does everything perfect. If Jesus had played golf, he would have hit a hole-in-one every time. This perfect score is unimaginable and sounds
ludicrous. However, it is critical to understand that his perfect score is what will help you with your score.

When your scorecard is not what was expected or desired, Jesus provides grace. No matter what we do, we cannot play well enough to avoid the rough, the traps, or other conditions that prevent a perfect
game. Jesus faced the same conditions in life, but he was able to keep his game perfect. His scorecard is worth bragging about, but instead of bragging, Jesus trades scorecards with you and me. He takes our mistakes and our imperfect score for his own. His perfect score is credited to us. This is a simplified explanation of how Jesus can improve every game in your life. He gives us a perfect score at the end of
each day through forgiveness. He also gives us the coaching that will help us improve our next round.

If you live in the area, we invite you to visit us and receive coaching from God through our worship services, Bible studies and other ministries.

Regardless of where you live, we still invite you to consider how you can assist us in providing help to others, so they can receive grace and improve their next round. Okay, we know you want to beat everyone else in golf, but can you understand what St. Paul Lutheran is really trying to do for others?
We would love for you to join us physically, in prayer, and even with your generous support. We want to share with everyone how the game of life can be played successfully.
