St. Paul offers various Bible studies on Sunday mornings between our worship services and at other times during the week. If a time is not listed they take place from 10:00AM to 10:45AM on Sundays. The current studies are listed below:
We take time to look at intriguing topics that come from the weekly Scripture readings used during the Divine Service. The topics may expand what we wish could have been included in the sermons. There is open discussion on the application of the readings to current events. We are also discovering the many helpful study tools included in The Lutheran Study Bible.
Led by Pastor Bruner in the Library.
Daily Lectionary Bible Study
Led by Pastor Bruner on Wednesday mornings at 9:00AM in the Council Room. We use the daily lectionary schedule for the focus of our discussion and study. The daily lectionary is available here.
Men's Bible Study
Pastor Abatelli is leading a Men’s Bible Study. We will be focusing on how to be a Godly man in a sinful world. We meet the second Tuesday of every month in the Library at 7:30PM
Adult Instruction Class (AIC)
Led by Pastor Abatelli. Do you have questions about the Bible, the world, suffering, right and wrong, forgiveness, the purpose for your life? Come get answers and discover what a relationship with Christ is about. In this class, we will look at the myths about Christ and His teachings, and then explore the truth about them.
Daring to Walk as Christ’s Disciples
Do I contribute to the health and well-being of the church and others? What does it mean to be a disciple? How do I grow spiritually? What does being a member of St. Paul mean? How am I a partner in the Gospel? What is my personal Mission in serving and giving to God and others? How do my spiritual gifts play a part in God’s Mission? What part does worship play? Why should I give?
Answer these questions and more; and find out how we can be a blessing to all because that is why God created us, through sharing, giving, serving, and loving Christ.
Led by Pastor Abatelli.
Note: Adult Instruction Class & Daring to Walk as Christ's Disciples alternate throughout the year.
