Ephesians 2:8-9  (ESV)   
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast.  

Meditative thoughts: 
What can I be sure of when I rely upon God’s gift of grace instead of my own works? 
When I hear others boasting, in what ways can I boast about God?
